JNR Announces Granting of Stock Options/Directors Re-elected

Saskatoon, SK, July 28, 2009 -- JNR Resources Inc. (TSX:JNN) (the 'Company') announces the granting of incentive stock options to 14 individuals who are directors, officers, employees and consultants of the Company to purchase up to 2,000,000 common shares in its capital stock at a price of $0.30 per share, exercisable for a period of five years.
The Company would also like to announce that at the Annual General Meeting of the shareholders held on Monday July 27th, 2009, Richard Kusmirski, Tracy Hurley, Dr. Leslie Beck, Ron Hochstein and David Billard were all re-elected as directors and all proposed resolutions were approved.
JNR is a junior resource company currently engaged in the exploration and development of mineral properties in the provinces of Saskatchewan and Newfoundland. The Company has a varied interest in several prospective uranium properties in the Athabasca Basin of northern Saskatchewan.
